Ingredients
- Rice - 8.8 oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Grated Ginger Root - 1.1 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Mussels - 14.1 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat finely chopped garlic (3 large cloves) in olive oil until fragrant. Stir to prevent burning.
Step 2
Add finely chopped ginger and heat in the pan again. Stir.
Step 3
Next, add freshly ground black pepper (you can coarsely grind it), soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar. This will create the sauce. Let it cook for another 2 minutes. Stir.
Step 4
Add the mussels. I tear them by hand. I buy them in oil. I use half a jar, but you can use the whole jar. Cook for about 2 minutes. Stir.
Step 5
Add the cooked rice for 2 servings. Stir.
Step 6
Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste. You can increase it to taste. Stir for about 2 minutes.
