Spicy sauce for luleh kebab
Ingredients
- Onion - 1 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - 1 fl oz
- Water - ½ cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into rings.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from the lemon and mix it with lemon vinegar and 0.5 cup of water and the onion, let it sit for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat the olive oil, finely chop the garlic and chili pepper.
Step 4
Sauté the garlic and chili pepper until golden.
Step 5
Add the tomato paste, 0.5 cup of water, stir thoroughly, and simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
The marinated onion is drizzled with the hot sauce and served with luleh kebab.
