Spicy-Sweet Pepper Vinegar
Ingredients
- Red Long Chili Peppers - 6 pieces
- Green peppercorns - ½ teaspoon
- Vinegar essence - 20 fl oz
- Coarse Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make long cuts on each pepper and place them in a clean wine bottle. Add the black peppercorns and place the bottle on a clean kitchen towel.
Step 2
In a pot, mix the vinegar, salt, and sugar, bring to a boil, and pour the mixture into the bottle, leaving 3 cm from the top.
Step 3
After 10-15 minutes, the peppers will absorb some of the marinade. Top off the bottle with vinegar, leaving 1.5 cm unfilled. Seal tightly with a lid and let it cool. Then transfer to the refrigerator.
