Spicy Veal Liver Steak
Ingredients
- Veal Liver - 15.9 oz
- Olive Oil - 1½ tablespoons
- Sumac - ½ teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice - ½ teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) - ½ teaspoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Let the meat breathe at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Pat it dry with paper towels on all sides.
Step 3
Brush with olive oil.
Step 4
Place the meat on a dry, hot grill pan.
Step 5
Once the bottom side is browned, flip it over.
Step 6
Season with sumac.
Step 7
Season with white pepper.
Step 8
Then with chili pepper.
Step 9
Once the second side is browned, flip it again and reduce the heat.
Step 10
Cover with a lid. Cook over medium-low heat.
Step 11
After 10 minutes, transfer to a plate and season with salt.
