Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 10.6 oz
- Spinach - 3.5 oz
- Jasmine Rice - 5.6 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 0.4 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Scallions - 0.4 oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Sesame Oil - 0 fl oz
- Honey - 0.7 oz
- Paprika - 0.1 oz
- Safflower Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice in cold water; immerse it in boiling water, cook covered on low heat for 7 minutes; remove from heat and let it sit without lifting the lid for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the pumpkin, cut it into small cubes, slice half of the chili pepper into rings; crush the garlic, peel it, and chop it coarsely.
Step 3
Peel the ginger and grate it on a fine grater.
Step 4
Heat vegetable and sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add garlic, pumpkin, ginger, chili, and honey, pour in 150 ml of hot water and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes.
Step 5
Slice the green onion into feathers and rings, add half to the pan along with the spinach.
Step 6
Pour in the soy sauce, mix, add the cooked rice, paprika, and heat on low for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Serve, garnished with the remaining green onion.
