Description
The cuts on the inside of the squid are made so that the meat becomes voluminous and does not shrink during baking.
Ingredients
- Chia Seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Oregano - to taste
- Smoked salt - to taste
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Squid - 4 pieces
- Cottage cheese - 15.9 oz
- Yakiniku sauce - 2.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Grate the zest from half of the lemon and finely chop it. Cut the lemon in half.
Step 2
Mix the cottage cheese, chia, flour, oregano, zest, and lightly salt.
Step 3
Rinse the squid bodies under cold water, clean them of membranes, turn them inside out, and make light diagonal cuts on the flesh in a crisscross pattern.
Step 4
Stuff the squid bodies with the cottage cheese filling.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the squid on it, brush them with olive oil, and salt. Place the lemon halves next to them and bake for 8 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, let it cool slightly, and sprinkle the squid with paprika. Arrange the squid on plates and serve with the baked lemon halves and teriyaki sauce.
