Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 1 glass
- Squid - 24.7 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Ground Cumin - 0,7 teaspoons
- Ground coriander - ½ spoons
- Turmeric - ½ spoons
- Basil - ½ spoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 4 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the frozen squid in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, and remove the skin and innards.
Step 2
Add salt to boiling water. Gradually immerse the squid in the boiling water for about 15 seconds. Then, slice them into strips.
Step 3
Boil the rice in a separate pot.
Step 4
Sauté the sliced onion (in half rings) and carrot (in rounds) in a skillet.
Step 5
Add the squid, stir in the tomato paste, and season with spices.
Step 6
Cook for about three more minutes, then mix the rice with the squid on a plate and serve.
