Description
The squid turns out incredibly tender; I’ve never achieved such an effect even in a steamer. Since the vegetables I used were green, the dish turned out green. You can use sour cream instead of mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Squid - 3 pieces
- Frozen vegetables 'Hawaiian mix' - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Spices - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the squid from the membrane and cut into rings.
Step 2
Dice the onion or cut it as you like, and sauté it in vegetable oil on the baking mode in the multicooker for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Switch the multicooker to the stewing mode, add the vegetable mix (I used Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and green beans), and set it for 40 minutes.
Step 4
After 20 minutes, add the squid rings, season with salt and pepper, and add spices (I used an Italian mix) and dried herbs.
Step 5
While everything is stewing, add the mayonnaise and garlic (I pressed it through a garlic press). Stir and leave until the end of the stewing program.
