Steak Burger with Pineapple and Sauerkraut Side
Ingredients
- Marbled Beef - 11.3 oz
- Pineapple - 1 piece
- Sauerkraut - 7.1 oz
- Marinated cherries - 7 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Unrefined Sunflower Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Unrefined Sunflower Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Dried Rosemary - a pinch
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the pineapple.
Step 3
Slice into 1 cm thick rounds.
Step 4
Place the pineapple on a hot skillet with oil. Sear over high heat.
Step 5
Once the bottom is browned, flip it over. Sear for another 3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 6
Place the patties in the hot oil. Fry over high heat.
Step 7
After 3–5 minutes, flip and reduce the heat.
Step 8
Season with rosemary and pepper mix.
Step 9
Cover with a lid and cook for another 7 minutes.
Step 10
Flip the patties.
Step 11
Place the pineapple on top and cover with a lid. Cook for a couple more minutes.
Step 12
Place the sauerkraut on a plate and season with pepper.
Step 13
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Step 14
Chop the garlic.
Step 15
Add the garlic to the sauerkraut.
Step 16
Drizzle with aromatic oil and mix.
Step 17
Top with the tomatoes.
Step 18
Combine the steak burgers with the sauerkraut and serve.
