- Brussels Sprouts - 10.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cream 22% - 5 fl oz
- Hard Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Fresh basil leaves - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the cabbage in a steamer and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce. Heat the skillet, add a bit of olive oil, then add the flour and lightly sauté it before gradually incorporating the cream, slightly diluted with cold water. Stir until smooth, then gradually add the grated cheese in small portions, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and basil. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

Before serving, place the cabbage on a serving plate and drizzle with sauce.
