Description

If you want to prepare it quickly — step away from the stove for a moment and the lingonberries will immediately escape. If you don’t want to waste the lingonberry season — stock up on roasted meat and cold vodka. If you have no supplies, tell your friends you have steamed lingonberries, and you will be immediately invited for meat and vodka.

Ingredients

  • Lingonberry - 22 lbs
  • Water - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Sort the lingonberries, removing moss, needles, and other forest surprises, and pour them into a pot.

Step 2

Add enough water to just cover the berries.

Step 3

You can add sugar.

Step 4

Place on low heat.

Step 5

Cover with a lid.

Step 6

Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally.

Step 7

After the 3rd or 4th stir, once the foam has risen, wait for the final rise and turn off the heat.

Step 8

Cool down and transfer to jars.

Step 9

Store in the refrigerator.
