Description
Strangely enough, some foods, when prepared by steaming, turn out to be not only healthier but also tastier than fried versions. For example, turkey: in a skillet, its tender white meat can easily become overcooked, while steaming helps retain its juiciness. Additionally, the steamed patty recipe allows for a more pronounced flavor—at least some aromatic herbs can be incorporated into the ground meat. Patties made from diet turkey come out light and airy, and they certainly do not resemble bland dishes from a 'restricted diet'. Of course, there is nothing catastrophic about fried patties, but why not include a steamed version in the menu for variety? After all, food that is gentle on the stomach is often light for the soul as well.
