Stewed Peppers in Sweet and Sour Sauce with Glass Noodles
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - 0 oz
- Rice Noodles - 10.6 oz
- Brown Sugar - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the glass noodles and let them steep for about 7 minutes.
Step 2
In a preheated skillet, pour in olive oil, add coarsely chopped onion and a teaspoon of sugar. Sauté until golden brown.
Step 3
Add 50 grams of soy sauce to the onion, add the remaining sugar and a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Allow the sugar to dissolve.
Step 4
Add the diced peppers. Simmer on low heat for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Serve with slightly cooled glass noodles.
