Stuffed Apples with Chicken
Ingredients
- Green Apples - 2 lbs
- Chicken fillet - 17.6 oz
- Milk - 12 fl oz
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - 0 oz
- Salt - 0 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken fillet until cooked (about 20 minutes after boiling). Let it cool.
Step 2
Finely chop the fillet.
Step 3
Melt the butter.
Step 4
Add the flour and mix well.
Step 5
Add the milk. Bring to a boil while stirring continuously. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the sauce thickens. It should have a consistency similar to liquid sour cream.
Step 6
Mix the sauce with the fillet and remove from heat.
Step 7
Cut off the top of the apples.
Step 8
Remove the core, leaving walls about 0.5 cm thick. Optionally, the edges can be made zigzag.
Step 9
Stuff the apples. Place them in a baking dish.
Step 10
Place a small piece of butter on each apple. Put in the oven. Bake at 356°F for 35–40 minutes.
Step 11
The apples can be served either hot or cold.
