Ingredients
- Turkey - 14.1 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 8 pieces
- Rice - ½ cup
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Ground clove - 4 pieces
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice and soak it in water for about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the ground turkey well, season with salt, and combine with the rice.
Step 3
Remove the skins and seeds from the peppers (I used small young peppers; if the peppers are larger, you will need fewer).
Step 4
Stuff the peppers tightly with the filling and place them in a deep pot, standing upright with the open end facing up.
Step 5
Pour boiled water over them to cover. Season with salt, add the tomato paste, cloves, and bay leaf.
Step 6
Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat until cooked, about 45 minutes.
