Stuffed Peppers with Pork Mince
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers - 4 pieces
- Rice - 7.1 oz
- Pork Mince - 17.6 oz
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 1 qt
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 2.5 oz
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Add pre-cooked rice (cooked until half done) to the mince and mix everything together. Season with salt to taste.
Step 3
Stuff the peppers with the mixture and cover each with its top.
Step 4
Place grated carrot at the bottom of a pot. Lay the peppers on top and pour tomato juice over them. Cook on the stove for about 1 hour. Add allspice, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. At the end of cooking, add sour cream and sugar.
