Description
Stuffed Piglet
Ingredients
- Piglet - 1 piece
- Fresh Mushrooms - 2 lbs
- Onion - 5.3 oz
- Spices - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the scalded, gutted, and washed piglet, remove the meat from the bones, lightly salt it, and sprinkle with crushed garlic and ground black pepper. Roll it up and place it in a cool place.
Step 2
Finely chop the boiled mushrooms and add finely chopped sautéed onion. Use this filling to stuff the prepared piglet, sew it up, and wrap it in cheesecloth or a napkin to maintain its shape. Place it in a pot, surround it with spices and bones, pour in broth, and cook until done for 1-2 hours.
Step 3
When ready, carefully remove it onto a cutting board, take off the napkin, remove the threads, cut into serving pieces, and arrange on a platter so it looks whole. Pour white sauce over the top. Garnish the dish with fresh vegetables. Serve with a side dish of your choice.
