Description

Stuffed squid with vegetables and imitation crab sticks

Ingredients

  • Squid - 4 pieces
  • Frozen Vegetable Mix 'Lecho' - 7.1 oz
  • Crab sticks in brine - 7.1 oz
  • Onion - 1 head
  • 10% cream - 7.1 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 2 spoons
  • Butter - 0.7 oz
  • Herbs - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

You need to take the vegetable mix with rice; Hawaiian is suitable. It doesn't need to be cooked for a long time; just heat it up, adding a little water if necessary.

Step 2

Cut the crab sticks into pieces, add them to the vegetable mixture, and season with 2 tablespoons of sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste, and stir in finely chopped herbs. The filling is ready.

Step 3

Clean the squid and place them in boiling water for 1 minute. The bodies should shrink slightly in size. You can start stuffing them now. To do this, secure one end of the squid with a toothpick, fill it tightly with the stuffing, and then secure the other end with another toothpick.

Step 4

In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onion until soft. Add the flour and stir well. Dilute the sour cream with water and pour it into the onion mixture. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Add the squid to the sauce and simmer for 5–7 minutes. Do not cook longer, or the squid will become rubbery.

Step 6

Arrange the calamari on plates and drizzle with the sauce.
