Description
Recipe taken from a collection of recipes by Anna Johnson.
Ingredients
- Sunflower Seeds - 5 oz
- Water - 0 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the sunflower seeds in a blender. Take the soaked seeds (drain the water) and place them in the blender. Add 1 liter of fresh, clean water. Turn on the blender for 1-2 minutes to grind the seeds.
Step 2
Separate the sunflower seeds from the resulting milk. Pour the milk into a large bowl through a special bag or cheesecloth. Squeeze the bag so that all the milk inside drains into the bowl. The seed pulp will remain in the bag.
Step 3
Place the milk in the refrigerator. If desired, sugar can be added to the milk. Pour the milk into a container and place it in the coldest part of the refrigerator. The milk can be stored for 2-3 days.
