- Gruyère cheese - 5 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Calvados - 2 tablespoons
- Emmental cheese - 5 oz
- Potato protein - 3 teaspoons
- Dry White Wine - 5 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rub the pot inside with garlic. Mix the Calvados with the starch until smooth and pour it into the pot. Add the grated cheeses and wine, and season with pepper. Place over low heat, stirring constantly until the cheese melts.
Step 2
When the fondue thickens slightly, place the pot over a burner to keep the cheese bubbling. Dip pieces of bread and apples.
