Tabaka Chicken with Adjika
Ingredients
- Poultry - 2 lbs
- Megrelian Adjika - 2 teaspoons
- Spices - 0.7 oz
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Broth - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pound the chicken, rub with salt, khmeli-suneli, and pepper. Leave for half an hour.
Step 2
Heat a skillet, melt the butter. Mix the adjika with sour cream and spread it on one side of the chicken (the back side). Place the chicken in the skillet with the coated side down, press down, and fry for 15 minutes on each side.
Step 3
Sauce: mince the garlic, add broth or water, and salt to taste.
Step 4
Drizzle or rub the sauce over the cooked chicken.
