Tabasco Sauce
Ingredients
- Mild Chili Spice - 6 pieces
- Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Malt Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Parsley - 0.7 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Under running water, remove the stems, seeds, and seed partitions from the chili peppers and chop them.
Step 2
Pour 250 ml of boiling water over them and let sit for 30 minutes. Keep 3 tablespoons of the liquid and drain the rest. Blend everything into a puree with the tomatoes, onion, and garlic.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pot, add the puree, and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Add salt, sugar, pepper, parsley, and vinegar.
