Ingredients
- Raw Cashews - 2.3 oz
- Lime Juice - 0.3 cups
- Chili Pepper - 1½ teaspoons
- Ground Dried Garlic - ½ teaspoon
- Coconut Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 head
- Tempeh - 8.1 oz
- Ground chili pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - ½ teaspoon
- Tortillas - 4 pieces
- Red Cabbage - 9.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To prepare the sauce, blend all ingredients and ¼ cup of water until smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
To make the tacos, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
Step 3
Add the onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add the tempeh and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown.
Step 5
Remove from heat and season with chili and cumin.
Step 6
Serve the prepared mixture on tortillas, garnished with cabbage, salsa, and sauce.
