Tagliatelle Pasta with Cherry Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- Marinated cherries - 7.1 oz
- Shallot - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Fresh basil leaves - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - to taste
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - to taste
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - 10.6 oz
- Thyme - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the shallots and garlic. Remove the seeds from the cherry tomatoes.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a pan, add a sprig of thyme, sauté the shallots and garlic, add the cherry tomatoes, and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Add three tablespoons of water and simmer the sauce for another 3–5 minutes.
Step 3
Cook the pasta in salted water.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce, mix, and keep on the heat for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the pasta with the sauce on plates, sprinkle with chopped basil and parsley, and grated Parmesan.
