Tandoori Mackerel
Ingredients
- Canned Mackerel in Oil - 4 pieces
- Red Curry Powder - ½ tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - ½ piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Cilantro - 10 pieces
- Ginger - 0.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut Milk - 2 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz

Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Finely chop the chili along with the seeds.
Step 3
Grate the ginger on a fine grater.
Step 4
Mix the curry powder, chili, garlic, cilantro root, and grated ginger. Grind everything in a mortar with salt until a smooth paste is formed.
Step 5
Add the coconut oil and mix until homogeneous.
Step 6
Pour the prepared masala over the mackerel fillets, evenly distributing the spices over the fish.
Step 7
Marinate the fish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Step 8
Carefully remove excess spices from the fish.
Step 9
Heat a skillet, add vegetable oil, and fry the fish: first on the skin side for 1 minute, then flip and fry for 30 seconds.
Step 10
Serve the tandoori mackerel immediately.
