Description

These pancakes can be made from any type of liver (beef, chicken, or pork). Thanks to the vegetables and sour cream, they turn out very tender and juicy. They are best served with thick sour cream and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • Veal Liver - 17.6 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 3 spoons
  • Carrot - 1 piece
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - ½ spoons
  • Activated Baking Soda - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Clean the liver and pass it through a meat grinder along with one small onion.

Step 2

Grate 1 large carrot using a fine grater.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the egg with the sour cream. Add flour, salt, minced meat, carrot, and baking soda. Mix well.

Step 4

Spoon the filling onto a preheated skillet greased with vegetable oil, forming small pancakes. Cook over medium heat. Leave one side uncovered until a golden crust forms around the edges of the pancakes, then flip them over, cover with a lid, and continue cooking until fully cooked.
