Description
Teriyaki Chicken with Couscous
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 21.2 oz
- Couscous - 3.5 oz
- Water - 3 fl oz
- Yakiniku sauce - 5 teaspoons
- Onion - 1 piece
- Safflower Oil - to taste
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 2 spoons
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Curry - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine all the marinade ingredients in a deep bowl: soy sauce, grated ginger, finely chopped garlic, and curry. Slice the chicken breast into strips and place it in the bowl with the marinade. Mix well with your hands and refrigerate for half an hour, or preferably for an hour.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in oil until soft. Add the marinated chicken and teriyaki sauce, and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Then increase the heat and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
Step 3
Pour 100 ml of boiling water over the couscous. Once the water is absorbed, add a small piece of butter and mix well.
Step 4
Before serving, you can garnish the chicken with chopped herbs.
