Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Red Curry Powder - 1½ tablespoons
- Coconut Milk - 13 fl oz
- Fish Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar - 4 teaspoons
- Flank Steak - 22.9 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Snap Peas - 7.8 oz
- Basil - 0.4 oz
- Lime Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the meat in the freezer for 30 minutes, then slice it into strips 3-4 mm wide and 5 cm long.
Step 2
In a 20 cm diameter skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the curry paste and sauté for 1 minute. Then pour in the coconut milk, add the fish sauce, and stir in the sugar, simmering for 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
Step 3
Add the beef and sauté for 3-5 minutes. Then add the chopped bell pepper and peas, removing the strings beforehand. Cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped basil, and drizzle with lime juice. Season with salt to taste.
