Ingredients
- White fish - 17.6 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Minced garlic - 2 cloves
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Grated Lemon Zest - 1 tablespoon
- Lime - 1 piece
- Red Long Chili Peppers - ½ piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Rice - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Using a blender, chop and mix the fish, lemongrass, ginger, and garlic until it forms a paste. Transfer to a bowl and add coriander, lime zest, red pepper and chili, flour, soy sauce, and egg white.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan, spoon the mixture into the pan, and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Step 3
Serve the fish cakes with boiled rice and sweet chili sauce if desired.
