Thai Fish Cakes
Ingredients
- Blue Ling Fillet - 15.9 oz
- Glutinous Rice Flour - 1.6 oz
- Fish Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cilantro - 3 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Red Curry Powder - 3 teaspoons
- Scallions - 2 stalks
- Chinese green beans - 3.5 oz
- Sweet Chili Sauce - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the fish in a meat grinder until minced or use a food processor.
Step 2
Add the flour, fish sauce, egg, chopped cilantro leaves, and curry paste. Pass through the meat grinder or chop in the food processor again. Transfer to a bowl. Add very finely chopped beans and green onion. Mix well and shape the cakes with wet hands, taking 2 tablespoons of the mixture for each.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the cakes on both sides until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel. Serve with chili sauce.
