Description
The recipe for this cocktail first appeared in the 'Savoy Cocktail Book', published in London in 1930. It was created by the famous American bartender Harry Smith, who emigrated to England during Prohibition and worked at a well-known hotel in London. The book contains 750 recipes and continues to be reprinted to this day.

Step 1
Pour Calvados, orange juice, liqueur, and bitters into the shaker with ice and shake well.
Step 2
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon or orange zest, or a slice of orange.
