Three Nut Pesto Sauce
Ingredients
- Fresh basil leaves - 3.5 oz
- Basil - 1 sprig
- Parsley - 1.2 oz
- Pistachios - 3.2 oz
- Brazil Nuts - 7 pieces
- Chopped almonds - 7 pieces
- Parmesan Cheese - 4.9 oz
- Garlic - 0.9 oz
- Olive Oil - 7 fl oz
- Red Wine Vinegar - 3 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2½ tablespoons
- Pink Himalayan Salt - 1½ tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Separate the basil leaves from the stems.
Step 3
Do the same with the parsley.
Step 4
Combine the herbs in a blender.
Step 5
Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until golden, stirring constantly. Then let cool.
Step 6
Add the remaining nuts directly to the blender.
Step 7
Peel the garlic and add it to the other ingredients.
Step 8
Cut the cheese into small cubes and add it to the blender.
Step 9
Squeeze the lemon juice.
Step 10
Add the wine vinegar.
Step 11
Add the salt.
Step 12
Pour in the cooled pine nuts.
Step 13
Blend for a few seconds.
Step 14
Add the olive oil and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
