Description
The amount of garlic and onions is a matter of taste, so you can use less if you prefer. But still, with them... Mmm, delicious! Before serving, you can sprinkle finely grated Parmesan cheese on top. This shrimp pairs wonderfully with a sauce made from mayonnaise, sour cream, and dill. Potatoes and steamed asparagus make a fantastic side dish. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Tiger shrimp in brine - 28.2 oz
- Garlic - 3 heads
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Scallions - 10 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Use peeled shrimp, but you can leave the tails on. They must be raw. If you have shrimp in shells, peel them and rinse in cold water to prevent them from cooking prematurely. It's best to make a small cut along the back; this way, they won't curl up too much while frying.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet and add the shrimp, stirring. Cook for 5 minutes with the lid off, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, chop a lot of garlic and green onion (the green parts) coarsely.
Step 3
Add the butter to the skillet with the shrimp and let it melt. Then add the garlic and onions, mix well, cover the skillet, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Serve the cooked shrimp on plates immediately.
