Ingredients
- Tilapia - 17.6 oz
- Soy Sauce - ¼ cup
- Brown Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Chinese Five Spice - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion tops - 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rub the fillet on both sides with the spice mixture. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce and brown sugar.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the fish in the skillet and fry for 2 minutes. Then slightly reduce the heat, flip the fish, and pour in the soy syrup. Bring to a boil and cook for another 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 3
Add the finely chopped green onions and remove from heat. Serve drizzled with the sauce from the skillet.
