Tilapia Lasagna
Ingredients
- Tilapia - 10.6 oz
- Ready-made dry lasagna sheets - 6 pieces
- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Milk - 23 fl oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 2.5 oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - to taste
- Nutmeg - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters. Boil in salted water until tender.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 4
At the very end of boiling the potatoes, add the tilapia fillet. Cook for 2 minutes and then drain the water.
Step 5
Combine the onions with the potatoes and fish, then mash with a potato masher.
Step 6
Add Worcestershire sauce, nutmeg, and ground black pepper. Taste the mixture and salt if necessary. Allow to cool.
Step 7
Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the flour and sauté over medium heat until it has a nutty aroma. Gradually pour in the milk, constantly whisking. Bring it to a kefir-like consistency.
Step 8
Pour a little sauce into the baking dish and layer the first sheets of lasagna.
Step 9
Spread the filling over the dough and drizzle with sauce. Cover with sheets of lasagna. Repeat until the filling is used up.
Step 10
Pour the remaining sauce over the last layer of lasagna sheets and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 356°F.
Step 11
Remove the foil, increase the temperature to 410°F, and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 12
Serve the lasagna hot with tilapia.
