Description
Canned tomatoes in their own juice can serve as tomato puree.
Ingredients
- Tomato Puree - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Scallions - 2 stalks
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Fresh Rose Hips - 0 oz
- Thyme - 0 oz
- Chili jam - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - ½ teaspoon
- Flaky sea salt - a pinch
- Ocean salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat mustard oil in a pan with a pinch of coarse salt.
Step 2
Chop the onions coarsely and add them to the pan.
Step 3
Crush the garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 4
Add it to the pan as well. Set the heat to medium.
Step 5
After 2 minutes, stir.
Step 6
After 1 minute, pour in the tomato puree.
Step 7
Add the pepper mix.
Step 8
After 5 minutes, stir and add the chili sauce.
Step 9
After 2 minutes, add the leaves of rosemary and thyme.
Step 10
After 3 minutes, blend with a blender, adjust salt if necessary, and transfer to a suitable container.
