- Onion - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 5 pieces
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice - 17.6 oz
- Canned Baby Beets - 1 can
- TABASCO® - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Butter - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Celery stalk - 3 stalks
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the garlic. Sauté in butter.
Step 2
Dice the onion, bell pepper, and celery into small cubes.
Step 3
Add vegetable oil to the skillet. Sauté the onion, then add the bell pepper, and then the celery.
Step 4
When the vegetables become soft, add the crushed tomatoes (for example, Chopped Tomatoes Pomito). Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 5
Add the white beans, salt and pepper to taste, and 1 teaspoon of TABASCO.
