Description
Instead of nightshades like tomatoes and bell peppers, you can use any other salad vegetables: cucumbers, radishes, and so on. Additionally, this sauce makes a great marinade for fresh fish. Just don’t go overboard with it. Its spiciness and acidity can overwhelm the fish's natural flavor.
Ingredients
- Grapeseed Oil - 0 fl oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Raw cane sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Cilantro - 0 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Ginger - 0 oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Marinated cherries - 15 oz
- Sweet Pepper - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine crushed garlic with grated ginger, grapeseed oil, olive oil, soy sauce, chopped cilantro, thinly sliced chili pepper, sugar, and lemon juice. Taste the sauce and add salt, adjusting with freshly ground black pepper if you find it lacking in saltiness and spice.
Step 2
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half or into quarters, and dice the bell pepper into small cubes. Mix the vegetables with the sauce and serve immediately.
