Description
Here is another Swedish glögg from a popular restaurant, now traditional, made with red wine.
Ingredients
- Red Grape Juice - 1½ l
- Dark rum - 5 fl oz
- Honey - 5 oz
- Almond - 5 oz
- Raisins - 5 oz
- Oranges - 2 pieces
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Apple - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - 3 pieces
- Cardamom - 8 pieces
- Clove - 5 pieces
- Star anise - 1 piece
- Allspice berries - 4 pieces

Prepare the ingredients
Step 2
Zest the oranges.
Step 3
Zest the lemon.
Step 4
Chop the apples into large pieces.
Step 5
Heat the wine in a pot to 60-160°F.
Step 6
Add the zest of an orange and a lemon to the wine.
Step 7
Add the apples.
Step 8
Add all the remaining ingredients except for the rum. Simmer on low heat for about 20-30 minutes.
Step 9
Remove from heat and add rum.
Step 10
Leave it to infuse in the refrigerator overnight.
