Ingredients

  • Soy Sauce - 4 spoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 2 spoons
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Mild Chili Spice - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Toasted Sesame - to taste
  • Trout - 7.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Remove all bones from the fish.

Step 2

Mix the marinade ingredients (everything except the sesame seeds) and add the pieces of fish, skin side up. Let the fish marinate for about 30 minutes at room temperature; it can be left longer in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 446°F. Place the fish skin-side down, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake it along with the marinade for about 12–15 minutes. You can skip the sesame seeds if you prefer; I think it tastes better that way.
