Tuna and Lentil Salad
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 5.3 oz
- Marinated cherries - 5.3 oz
- Mixed salad greens - 2.5 oz
- Tuna - 5.3 oz
- Lentils - 2.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Mustard Greens - 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Rinse the lentils with water, add a pinch of salt, and boil for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Sear the tuna in a pan or electric grill for 5–7 minutes, adding 10 ml of olive oil.
Step 4
Transfer the seared tuna to a plate and season with salt to taste.
Step 5
Cut into random pieces.
Step 6
Add 10 ml of olive oil to the boiled lentils and mix.
Step 7
Bake in an oven preheated to 392°F for 15 minutes.
Step 8
Chop the cucumbers, tomatoes, and salad leaves.
Step 9
Finely chop the garlic.
Step 10
For the dressing, mix 20 ml of olive oil, mustard, garlic, and lemon juice. Add salt to taste.
Step 11
On a plate, arrange the mixed salad greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and tuna. Drizzle with the dressing and sprinkle with lentils.
