Tuna and Melon Salad
Ingredients
- Cilantro - 0.3 oz
- Cantaloupe - 7.1 oz
- Tuna - 8.5 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 0.3 oz
- Mixed salad greens - 4.2 oz
- Orange juice concentrate - 3 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 5 fl oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Season the tuna with salt and pepper, then sear it in a tablespoon of olive oil for one minute on each side.
Step 2
Dice the melon into small cubes, finely chop the ginger root and cilantro leaves. Mix everything together.
Step 3
For the sauce, mix orange juice and lemon juice with 140 ml of olive oil and soy sauce.
Step 4
Slice the seared tuna and drizzle it with about a tablespoon of oil, then gently toss to coat.
Step 5
Arrange the slices of tuna on plates. Drizzle with sauce. Add cubes of melon. Complete the composition with the salad mix (arugula, radicchio, corn, frisée). If desired, season with salt and pepper.
