Tuna Quiche
Ingredients
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- 33% Cream - 3 fl oz
- Pesto - 5.3 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 0.4 oz
- Canned tuna in its own juice - 5.3 oz
- Broccoli - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with the softened butter.
Step 2
Beat 1 egg until smooth.
Step 3
Pour the beaten egg into the flour and knead the dough. It should not stick to your hands. If necessary, add a little more flour. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4
Break the broccoli into florets and boil in boiling water for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Mix the milk, cream, 1 egg, and pesto. Add salt and pepper.
Step 6
Line the baking dish with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 4 mm and transfer it to the dish.
Step 7
Prick the bottom all over with a fork.
Step 8
Cover with parchment and fill with beans or rice. Bake in an oven preheated to 392°F for 40 minutes (until golden brown).
Step 9
Remove the weight and grate a little cheese on the bottom of the dish.
Step 10
Layer the tuna and broccoli.
Step 11
Pour the milk mixture over and bake for another 30 minutes. The filling should have a firmness.
