Turkey and Spinach Burgers
Ingredients
- Turkey - 14.1 oz
- Frozen spinach discs - 7.1 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 1.8 oz
- Onion - ½ heads
- Parsley - 0.7 oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Carrot - 17.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Ginger - 1.8 oz
- Cilantro - 1.8 oz
- Ground Cumin - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the carrot, dice it into small cubes, and simmer in a small amount of water for fifteen minutes. Then, add grated ginger and ground cumin to the carrots and simmer for another five minutes. Before serving, mix the carrots and ginger with finely chopped cilantro. For a smoother texture, you can blend the carrots with cilantro and ginger in a blender, adding a little soy mayonnaise or coconut cream if desired.
Step 2
Grind the turkey breast into minced meat.
Step 3
Thaw the spinach, squeeze out the excess liquid, and in a large bowl, mix it with ground turkey, finely chopped onion, finely chopped parsley, bread crumbs, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly, using your hands to blend the meat, vegetables, and bread into a uniform mixture. Shape this mixture into four equal-sized burgers.
Step 4
Preheat a grill pan with vegetable oil and cook the burgers for seven minutes on one side and five minutes on the other side.
Step 5
Serve the turkey burgers with ginger puree.
