Turkey Breast in Coconut Milk
Ingredients
- Turkey - 22.9 oz
- Coconut Milk - 4 fl oz
- 10% cream - 0 fl oz
- Ginger - 0.9 oz
- Garlic - 0.9 oz
- Lemongrass - 0.5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 0.4 oz
- Galangal - 1.1 oz
- Red Curry Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion - 3.9 oz
- Olive Oil - 1½ tablespoons
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Mixed Ground Peppers - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the lemongrass and ginger.
Step 2
Dice the onion.
Step 3
Slice the galangal root.
Step 4
Heat the olive oil in a skillet.
Step 5
Cut the turkey into cubes.
Step 6
Add the ginger and lemongrass to the skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 7
Remove the ginger and lemongrass. Add the galangal root and onion to the skillet.
Step 8
After 2 minutes, stir and add the turkey to the skillet.
Step 9
Season with salt and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
Step 10
Stir and add pepper. Reduce the heat to medium and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 11
Coarsely chop the chili and garlic.
Step 12
Add the chili and garlic to the turkey. Stir.
Step 13
Add the coconut milk and cream.
Step 14
Add the curry powder and mix well. Simmer for about 3 more minutes.
Step 15
Serve on a plate.
