Description
Turkey can easily be replaced with chicken. The key ingredient in this dish is mint, which adds a special note.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 10.6 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 5 pieces
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 1.4 oz
- Feta cheese - 3.5 oz
- Mint - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into half rings (can be smaller).
Step 2
Sauté everything until half-cooked.
Step 3
Pass the meat through a meat grinder (you can use ready-made minced meat), add it to the vegetables, and fry for another 10 minutes. Add mint (fresh or dried), salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Finely chop the bell pepper, add it to the vegetables, and fry for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Beat the egg, sour cream, and feta cheese with a mixer in a deep bowl (if the feta is hard, soak it in boiling water for about 10 minutes beforehand).
Step 6
Place the vegetables in a baking dish, pour the beaten sauce over them, and bake in the oven at 356°F until golden brown.
Step 7
Serve on a bed of lettuce.
