Turkey Chebureki
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Water - 13 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 19.4 oz
- Turkey - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 27 fl oz
- Safflower Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Cut the onion into four parts and the garlic clove in half.
Step 3
Transfer to a blender bowl.
Step 4
Blend into a homogeneous mass.
Step 5
Add the onion and garlic to the ground turkey, along with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Mix well.
Step 7
For the dough, place the egg and salt (1 teaspoon) in a bowl.
Step 8
Mix well.
Step 9
Pour in the water.
Step 10
Mix well.
Step 11
Add the flour.
Step 12
Start kneading the dough with a spoon.

Pour in the vegetable oil.
Step 14
Knead the dough with your hands.

Take a small piece of dough.

Roll it out to a thickness of 3–4 mm.

Cut out a circle.

Place the filling on one half of the dough, leaving a 2 cm margin from the edges.

Fold it in half and seal the edges by hand or using a special chebureki mold. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and filling.

Fry the chebureki in hot oil for 3–4 minutes on each side.
Step 21
Let the finished chebureki rest on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
