Turkey Fillet in Coconut Milk
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 14.1 oz
- Coconut Milk - 3 fl oz
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Mixed Ground Peppers - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Leek - 0.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the leek.
Step 2
Peel and crush the garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan with the garlic. Once the garlic is golden brown on both sides, remove it. Place the sliced fillet in the pan. Sear for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add salt.
Step 5
Flip and sear for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 6
Add the leek to the pan. Reduce the heat to medium.
Step 7
After 2 minutes, add the coconut milk.
Step 8
Add the mixed peppers.
Step 9
Cover with a lid and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 10
Transfer the cooked fillet to a plate, and top with the sautéed leek.
Step 11
Garnish with herbs and serve.
