Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken fillet - 2 lbs
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Paprika - ½ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Herbs - ½ bunch
- Ground Black Pepper - ⅓ teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, rinse the fillet well and pat it dry with a paper towel. Then, peel the onion and carrots, and preferably chop them into small pieces. Pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into a frying pan, add the onion and carrots. Stir the ingredients and sauté for 5–7 minutes over medium heat.
Step 2
Cut the fillet into small cubes and place it in the frying pan with the remaining vegetable oil. Season with salt to taste. The sautéing process will take about 15 minutes, after which add the finely chopped garlic. After 2 minutes, turn off the heat.
Step 3
Add the tomato paste to the sautéed vegetables. Add a little water.
Step 4
Combine the vegetables and meat, simmer the dish for 12–15 minutes with the lid on, remembering to stir occasionally. To the finished dish, add dried paprika, black pepper, and fresh herbs.
