Description
And that's it. The most delicious, tender lasagna is ready. In fact, the dish is prepared very quickly and easily. Enjoy your meal!!!
Ingredients
- Turkey - 35.3 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 3 fl oz
- Ready-made dry lasagna sheets - 12 pieces
- Milk - 1 qt
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Parmesan Cheese - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a skillet, sauté finely chopped onion and grated carrot, add the ground turkey and mix thoroughly to prevent the meat from browning in clumps. Then cover with a lid and cook until almost done. Remove the lid—add salt, pepper, and optionally basil or thyme—turkey pairs well with them :)) and add the tomato juice, mix well, let it simmer for a couple more minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool.
Step 2
Prepare a baking dish for the lasagna. It's better to use a glass dish for aesthetic reasons, but any dish you have on hand will do. Grease the bottom and sides of the dish with butter.
Step 3
Now let's make the béchamel sauce. In a skillet, melt the butter over low heat to prevent burning. Add the flour and mix thoroughly. Gradually add the milk, mixing very well. Season with pepper, salt, and of course, add nutmeg—it pairs perfectly with this sauce. The sauce should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream.
Step 4
Assembly. Spread a few spoonfuls of sauce on the bottom of the dish and lay down the lasagna sheets, then add some of the turkey mixture, pour some sauce over it, and generously sprinkle with cheese. Repeat the layers until the turkey mixture is finished. For the last layer, cover the lasagna sheets with sauce and top everything with cheese. Cover the top of the dish with a sheet of foil. Our beauty is ready to go into the oven.
Step 5
Bake at 190-200°C for about half an hour. After half an hour, remove the foil to let the top brown, and bake for another 15 minutes.
